keziathPeople amuse me. I was at an evening presentation yesterday (put on by a pharmaceutical company, free food, promotion of their products, educational bits) which was surprisingly good fun. I was especially amused by the buffet - everyone was drinking while waiting for the food to be put out, but when it comes out... no one goes near it.
Me being me (and also being absolutely starving), I decide to break the taboo. Wander over, start loading my plate up with food (being rather greedy about it, too *blush*), look around a couple of seconds after I've picked some stuff up from the first plate... and there's two massive queues, one at either end of the table, of just about everyone else in the room. Evidently I wasn't the only one who was hungry *snickers*
In other news, I have a working sewing machine. Now all I have to do is make two pairs of trousers by a week Saturday. Piece of cake!
