Crazy few days
Jun. 27th, 2007 08:58 pmI'm on holiday! Hurrah!... and about blooming time too - my last proper holiday (ie more than three days in a row) was in January...

bakatron - spent far too much money in Forbidden Planet on books (like I really need any more!), then went for a wander round Trafalgar Square before heading home.
Today it was up and running around building bookcases before heading to my parents - I now have three shiny new empty bookcases waiting for when I get home. Unfortunately, I suspect it isn't going to be enough *coughs and looks embarrassed*. I already have four big boxes/bags of books, and I haven't even started on the books in the loft - although hopefully I'll be able to throw more of those out *fingers crossed*.
I'll have to have another sort out once I get back to Cardiff - hopefully it won't traumatise the cat too much (I have a cat! Yay!) since she'll probably be hiding out in the study for the first few days while she settles in.
WFRP on Saturday was good fun, although I'm gutted I missed the start. It wouldn't have been quite so bad if I wasn't on holiday immediately after, but it being my last day of work before being off was just annoying. Still, it was more good fun, and I have the Vampire larp this weekend (ack, preparation!). Can't wait!
