Today hasn't been good. My new book arrived today, which is good, but on the other hand that meant I got hardly any work done today. Not good.

Then on the way back from the pub with a bunch of friends, some idiots drive past in a car and throw an egg at us. Guess who they hit? Yep, that's right... I now have a leather coat covered in egg, and the knuckles of my left hand are all cut and bleeding... *sigh*

NOT happy.

I'm not having much luck at the moment, what with last night and today.

So, today I get up and meet my friends at 11, to go down to the poster exhibition day. This is for the fourth years, where they show their masters projects and get marked. We'd been told that we could go in any time between 11, when the posters went up, to 4, when it finished, but that it would be a good idea to go before 2, since 2-4 was when the posters were being marked and it would be very busy.

So, we get there about 11.20, and the students ask us to wait outside for a bit, since they haven't finished putting up the posters. So we do. About 11.40, one of the staff comes out and suggests we wait in the coffee shop, and we say we're waiting to go look at the posters. He says we won't be allowed in to see the posters until 2. WTF???

So we leave... and later discover that some other students turned up later than us, and got in to see the posters. Also, one of the 4th years saw one of my friends walking away from the exhibit, and when told what we'd been told was rather surprised - and thought we probably wouldn't be able to go in between 2-4, since that's when the examiners were talking to the students.... argh!!!

We got in eventually, and it was all okay, but still... I totally wasted half a day that could have been spent working (okay, so I got a little bit of work done. Wonderful.).

To top it off, walking home from the exhibition... there I am, minding my own business toodling along the pavement, and something WET suddenly lands on my head. Some utter ******** had thrown something out of the first floor window (I suspect water, but I'm not sure...) without even seeming to consider that someone might be walking underneath!!!!! Plus, who the **** throws water out of the window knowing full well there's a pavement underneath? Hello, ever heard of a SINK, people?!?!

I am NOT happy. Not in the SLIGHTEST.

And now I'm going to go have a shower, because I don't even want to think what that might have been instead of water....

Forgot to mention yesterday... while in the pub, someone described me as "the witches of Macbeth meets Galadriel"

*falls over laughing*
